QC Electrical & Instrument Inspector

Location: Tuscany fabrication yard , Italy
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day – 5 days/week (overtime paid over 8 hours/day , possible also the Saturdays)

We are currently looking for a QC Electrical & Instrument Inspector to join our team for a major offshore project

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on electrical and instrumentation installations in accordance with project specifications and standards

• Verify cable routing, cable trays, terminations, glanding, and earthing/grounding systems

• Inspect installation and calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, datasheets, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)

• Witness testing activities such as continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, loop checks, and functional tests

• Identify and report non-conformities (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions

• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams

• Ensure all inspections are properly recorded and documented

• Verify that documentation is up to date (latest revisions) and suitable for construction

• Support punch list identification and closure prior to handover

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent)

• Proven experience as QC Electrical & Instrument Inspector in oil & gas / offshore / yard projects

• Good knowledge of international standards (IEC, ATEX, etc.)

• Experience with inspection and testing of E&I systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation

• Good command of English (Italian is a plus)

• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Italy
