The Maintenace Instrument-Automation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of all plant instrumentation, automation systems, and electronic equipment. This role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of process control systems and supports continuous plant operations. The position involves supervising a team of technicians and coordinating with other departments for preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and automation projects
Main tasks and responsibilities :
• Conduct detailed analysis of production processes, formulate plans and designs for automated control systems, andclarify system requirements;
• Select appropriate hardware and software platforms, controllers, and network architectures based on actual needs;
• Develop control programs, design and implement configuration projects to ensure the realization of systemfunctions;
• Debug and verify automated control systems to ensure their normal operation;
• Detect and repair system faults, analyze the causes of faults, and propose preventive measures;
• Optimize automated control systems according to actual production conditions to improve system stability andefficiency;
• Be responsible for automation transformation and upgrading projects of production lines, including improvementand optimization of control systems;
• Select appropriate automation equipment and control systems according to production needs;
• Organize and implement automation transformation projects to ensure their smooth completion;
• Provide technical support to solve technical problems in the production process and ensure the smooth progress ofproduction;
• Train production line technical workers to enable them to operate automation equipment and systems smoothlyand efficiently;
• Formulate technical schemes, engineering reports, and design documents to ensure the accurate transmission oftechnical information;
• Establish complete equipment management files, including technical data, spare parts lists, technical drawings, andfault records;
• Pay attention to industry trends, research new technologies and methods, and improve the technical level ofautomated control systems;
• Apply new technologies and methods to practical projects to improve production efficiency and quality;
• Be responsible for the budget of control projects, including costs of required technical and engineering equipment,personnel expenses, etc.;
• Allocate resources reasonably to ensure the smooth progress of projects and their completion within the budget;
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards to avoid risks caused by irregular operations;
• Cooperate closely with the HSE department to ensure the safe and stable operation of automated control systems.
