FAM ENERGY SERVICE is currently seeking a highly qualified RAT Painter for an upcoming offshore project.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong technical background in industrial coating and the ability to work at heights in challenging marine environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform abrasive blasting and high-performance coating applications on offshore structures using rope access techniques.
Ensure all surface preparation meets international standards (SSPC, NACE, or ISO).
Conduct inspections and monitor coating thickness (WFT/DFT) to ensure quality compliance.
Maintain strict adherence to IRATA safety protocols and offshore HSE regulations.
Collaborate with the QA/QC team to deliver defect-free results under tight deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
Certification: Valid IRATA Level 1 (or higher) is mandatory.
Offshore Readiness: Must possess valid offshore certifications, including BOSIET/FOET with EBS, a valid Passport, and Seaman’s Book.
Experience: Proven experience as a Blaster/Painter in the Oil & Gas or Offshore industry (FPSO experience is a significant advantage).
Technical Skills: Expertise in surface preparation, airless spray painting, and manual coating application.
Language: Functional English (Working proficiency).

Location: Offshore – Brazil
Asset: FPSO
Rotation: 45 days ON / 45 days OFF
Working Schedule: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week
Contract Type: 6 months + 6 months (Extendable contract)
