Responsibilities
• Oversees work order workflows and ensures accuracy and integrity of maintenance tracking systems (SAP - CMMS).
• Develops, implements, and maintains rotating equipment inspection and condition monitoring programs.
• Optimizes labor, contractor, and asset utilization through effective planning and scheduling.
• Contributes to annual maintenance budgeting through data-driven planning and forecasting.
• Prepares cost estimates for maintenance projects, repairs, and planned scopes.
• Supports turnaround preparation and execution by aligning work plans, resources, and materials.
• Responsible for screening and determining scopes for incoming work orders, defines job requirements, and
determines appropriate level of planning rigor.
• Performs field walk-downs to validate scope, assess worksite conditions, and document job details.
• Identifies and communicates specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed
work.
• Estimates job duration, required hours, and skillsets needed to safely and effectively execute work.
• Coordinates procurement and staging of required materials, parts, tools, and specialty equipment.
• Measures and maintains a balanced maintenance backlog with a minimum of 3+ weeks of fully planned “Ready-to-Schedule” work.
• Verifies completed work meets planning specifications and is properly documented in CMMS.
• Enhances job plans and task procedures using technician feedback and actual execution data.
• Aligns maintenance priorities with operations and coordinates with contractors for efficient execution.
• Maintains accurate asset history, critical equipment files, and maintenance standards within CMMS.
• Monitors key performance indicators and drives continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance planning and
reliability.
• Supports onboarding, coaching, and technical development of rotating equipment maintenance personnel.
