Offshore Mechanical Foreman
Supervisors specialized in mechanical engineering and offshore work supervision, with solid experience in installation, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial and offshore mechanical systems.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with:
Installation, inspection, and maintenance of piping, pumps, valves, and process systems
Supervision of mechanical erection, welding, and alignment of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
Testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, cooling systems, tanks, and mechanical skids
Interpretation of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, and equipment schematics
Verification of proper installation, alignment, and calibration of mechanical equipment
Support for mechanical interfaces with electrical and instrumentation systems
Knowledge of international mechanical and offshore standards, and safety regulations (ASME, API, ISO)
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
Inspection and verification of mechanical installations according to project specifications and drawings
Coordination of mechanical assembly, welding, and alignment of equipment
Functional testing of pumps, compressors, valves, HVAC systems, and mechanical skids
Troubleshooting mechanical issues during start-up and system integration
Completion and closure of mechanical punch lists
Support for commissioning documentation and system handover
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams during plant start-up and commissioning

Start date: ASAP
Location: Offshore – Brazil
Rotation: 45 days on / 45 days off
Working schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week
Contract type: 6-month + 6-month extendable contract
