Commissioning Mechanical Technician
Offshore Commissioning Mechanic Technician:
Technicians specialized in mechanical commissioning activities, with proven experience in inspecting, testing, and putting mechanical systems into service in industrial/offshore environments.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with:
Assembly, alignment, and testing of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, fans)
Inspection and adjustment of actuators, mechanical valves, and mechanical handling systems
Basic vibration analysis and mechanical checks prior to start-up
Reading P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and technical manuals
Troubleshooting support during start-up and pre-commissioning activities
Key Responsibilities:
Execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on mechanical equipment
Mechanical alignment, torqueing, and bolt tensioning according to specifications
Functional testing of pumps, compressors, and auxiliary units
Inspection and verification of rotating and static mechanical systems prior to start-up
Coordination with multidisciplinary teams during plant start-up
Preparation and resolution of mechanical punch lists and system completion tasks

Start date: ASAP
Location: Offshore – Brazil
Rotation: 45 days on site / 45 days off
Working schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week
Contract type: 6-month + 6-month extendable contract
