Offshore Commissioning Instrument Technician
Technicians specialized in instrumentation commissioning activities, with solid experience in inspecting, calibrating, testing, and putting instrumentation and control systems into service in industrial/offshore environments.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with:
Calibration, installation, and loop testing of field instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow)
Configuration and verification of transmitters, control valves, positioners, solenoid valves
Interpretation of P&IDs, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets
Testing and troubleshooting of PLC/DCS I/O and instrumentation signals
Pre-commissioning checks on ESD, F&G, and process control systems
Working with 4–20 mA loops, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, or equivalent protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on instrumentation and control equipment
Loop checks, function tests, calibration, and verification of field devices
Troubleshooting of instrumentation issues during start-up and system integration
Verification of instrument wiring, marshalling cabinets, and I/O connections
Functional testing of safety systems (ESD, F&G) under supervision
Completion of instrumentation punch lists and support to system handover
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams during plant start-up and commissioning

Start date: ASAP
Location: Offshore – Brazil
Rotation: 45 days on site / 45 days off
Working schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week
Contract type: 6-month + 6-month extendable contract
